Course Description

Utilizing PSI (personalized system of instruction), the course is designed to increase reading speed while maintaining comprehension. Emphasis on overcoming subvocalization, overcoming regression, previewing, and matching reading speed to purpose. Individualized work on microcomputers. Registration for PSI sections is designed to be flexible throughout the semester for student convenience.
