Course Description

Prerequisite: ENGL 1302
Credit: 3 (3 lecture)

A critical study of major American writers from the colonial period to 1865. Students may take ENGL2327 and ENGL 2328 in any order.This course requires substantial reading and research. Students who enroll in this course are strongly advised to have passed ENGL 1302 with a grade of "C" or better. Core Curriculum course.
