Biography or Teaching Philosophy
Has been an instuctor at HCCS since 1990. Mrs. Krieg has taught Developmental Reading I and II, Basic Reading and Math, TASP Review, and Study Skills. She has also worked in partnership with the Harris County Sheriff's Deparment, Metro Police and H.P.D., successfully preparing recruits for employment exams. Mrs. Krieg is in the process of writing a textbook titled, "Strategies for Developing College Readers, Book 2," for Longman Publishers.
Teaching Philosophy: "It's important to develop discipline as well as skill to be successful in college."
