Biography  

Alan Ainsworth is the Chair of the English Department of HCC-Central. He has a B.A. from Rice University and a M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Houston. His interests include poetry, American Literature, rhetoric, and creative writing. His poetry and prose have appeared in The Atlantic Monthly, The Paris Review, The American Book Review, The New England Review, ArtLies, Timeslice, and other journals. He edited 75 Arguments, a reader, for McGraw-Hill.
