Biography

Keith Caldwell received his MFA in Acting from The University of Houston, and is currently working towards a Masters in Music at the Moore School of Music at University of Houston.  He is now teaching several new courses at Houston Community College at the Central Campus.  The new classes are Music Notation I, Music Notation II, and Midi I.  These exciting new courses will also offer to students the opportunity to receive Special Certificates in Music.

Mr. Caldwell is known around town as one of the best Broadway and nightclub singers of today and has performed in most of the theatres around town as either an actor or as a singer.  Most recently, he was seen as the Baker and the Cheesegrater in Theatre Under The Stars production of "Beauty and The Beast" in Sarofim Hall at the Hobby Center.  Keith moved from New York City in 1990, where he was one of the most successful male Cabaret singers and also had a successful career as a commercial actor and model.  He is also remembered in New York for his performance as Bobby Jones in the Musical "Trixie True, Teen Detective" at the Theatre DeLys.  You might remember him as the being in the first Domino's Pizza commercial as the delivery boy or on the cover of the Hardy Boy Books for several years. 

Mr. Caldwell is still heavily involved performing on stage in the theatre at night and teaches during the day.  He is a part-time acting professor at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX and at HCC Central campus teaches for the music department.
