Need elevators for students

Sean, I will forward your comments to the Campus Manager, Chief Operating Officer, and President. Currently, there is one elevator for students, faculty, staff, and community members. It is located in the Student Lounge on the east side of the building. The programmers and architects of the San Jacinto Memorial Building renovation will design new elevators in the new plans.

I am a graduate of San Jacinto High School. Will our history be preserved? If so, how?

Dorothy Grant, The San Jacinto High School Memorial Room will be integrated in the renovation project with the input of the San Jacinto Memorial High School Alumni group. President Bill Harmon is chairing the committee that is doing the preliminary programming of the building.

Too bad this building won't be renovated now, especially since redoing the San Jacinto Building was the main reason I voted for your stupid bond. Not to mention the fact that you will use some of the bond money to put a hunk of glass in front of it. I will not vote for any more bonds for you.

Dear Disappointed,
The renovation of the San Jacinto Memorial Building was postponed in order to go through the proper assessment of the building in its current state and make sure that the renovation plan would address not only the building's needs but its historical heritage. It will be renovated and it needs to be renovated well.

I don't see why we need to block this historic building by placing an ice cube in front of it. Let's try a better location and design that fits with the current architecture.

Well I actually think that the glass idea is interesting and does sound like a great idea. If the previous commenters would have read it does say that the designs are subject to change. Which means that it is not sketched in stone.
