H oang Do has been worked in the HVACR field for over thirty years. He is a graduate of Amarillo College in Amarillo, Texas where he received his Associate Applied Science Degree in Heating & Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology. After graduating from Amarillo College, He began his career in services for several companies in Houston as a HVAC&R service Technician and a HVAC trainer. He also attended San Jacinto College major in Mathematics, received Associate of Art in Mathematics. In 1992, He received B.S in Industrial/Technical Education and M.S (Master of Science) in Instructional Technology from University of Houston – Clear Lake.
In the last thirty years, The Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) field has experienced massive technological change. It has gone from the era of iced box refrigerator to computerized, automated electronic HVAC equipment. Today’s Technician needs more than a small tool box, he must have extensive technical training background in working with HVAC&R field.
Many of recent changes in the HVAC&R field, as a faculty in HART department of Houston Community College; he continues his professional development to stay abreast of the latest changes in his chosen industry by attaining more national certification as required by Industries'standard. He continues to his HVAC&R training and received the following national certifications by HVAC Excellence – Benchmark of Academic Excellence:

Mr. Do is currently a faculty of HVAC&R Department of Houston Community College District-Central Campus; He is responsible for Curriculum development, Blackboard (online) Course development, and Teaching assignments. Among his many responsibilities is his role as program's student advisor/mentor, career advisor, and community participation in searching job for program graduated student. His contributions include serving on and chairing Faculty Hiring committee , conducting HVAC State Licensing Training and EPA workshops for CEU program, and serving as a college partnership trainer for Fort Bend high school Career Technology program.

He actively encourages his students to make the most of the opportunities they encounter academically, professionally, and personally, as he has done in his past and continues to do. Despite his many challenges, Hoang Do manages to maintain a healthy personal life, in which he and his wife, Deana Nguyen, enjoy Traveling, Camping and Hiking, Fishing, Skiing every Christmas holidays spending time with their family, and being the proud parent of only son – Jonathan H. Do.
